- The screen is made of Gorilla Glass 5 and has been chemically strengthened, making it much tougher than earlier smartphones
- The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has Always On Display (AOD) functionality, meaning you won’t have to touch your phone in any way to check the time and date as it’s always shown on the screen. If you’re worried that AOD will drain your battery, don’t be - the feature only takes about 1% of battery life per day
- The home button for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is no longer a physical button, but rather a touch screen feature on the screen. Simply tap to access the home screen!
