The Apple Watch Series 5 was released in September 2019, offering some upgrades from the 4th Series. On the design side, it features a larger display and rounded corners, a slimmer chassis and a new ceramic back. The 64-bit dual-core processor is the same as Series 4. On the health side, the Series 5 includes the same electrical heart sensor, a water-resistance depth of 50 metres, fall detection, optical heart sensor and a beautiful ceramic and sapphire crystal back.
